Office Clerk

 

The Wapello County Sheriff’s Office is looking to hire an Office Clerk that is responsible for handling clerical tasks in our office.  This position will include handling incoming calls and greeting citizens and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office clerk duties.  Applicant must have strong communication skills.

 

Applications will be available at the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office, 330 W. 2nd St., Ottumwa, IA 52501 or at wapellocounty.org where you may fill out and print the Employment Application as well as the Release Authorization.  Applications and Release will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. October  11th, 2024.  The application and release can either be hand delivered, sent by U.S. Mail or scanned and emailed to dphillips@wapellocounty.org.

The starting wage for the position of Wapello County Office Clerk is $19.50 per hour up to $22.50 per hour depending on experience coupled with an excellent benefit package.
