Wapello County Public Health and Wapello County Emergency Management recently teamed up to provide Emergency Preparedness kits to two local school systems. Evans Middle School and Eddyville/Blakesburg/Fremont schools both received the preparedness kits. Funding for this project was provided by the Wapello County Healthcare Coalition which covered 90% of the project and the schools both covered the remaining 10%. This project is just one more step we’re taking to make sure our schools are prepared. Last year, Cardinal School system received the preparedness kits.
